Why we formed our consulting business

After collectively spending over 20 years steeped in personal, organizational, leadership and management development, we discovered that there is a focus on viewing our lives and organizations as the accomplishment of tasks to be done as efficiently and effectively as possible. Our experience has shown that it is more effective to take an approach which incorporates the following elements:

• Allow people as much as possible to find meaning in what they do and to shape their environment – People closest to the work being accomplished know best how to design their environment in ways that work for them and allow their talents to flourish. This also results in more ownership and accountability.
• Come from the heart as much as from the head – When we listen from our hearts as much as from our heads, we allow meaning and purpose to unfold in our personal and work lives.
• As much as possible, focus on our gifts and strengths – Shifting the focus from fixing what’s wrong (perfection) to enhancing our gifts and strengths (excellence) allows us to manifest our desires in unique ways which are hard to duplicate by others.
• Use novel approaches which have a solid foundation – There are practices which have been successfully in use for thousands of years such as astrology, feng shui and energy flows which work really well in helping people and organizations open up their creativity and foster new insights.
• Have fun – Yeah, we know that life is serious business. Yet we all have experienced far more creativity, commitment and progress when we are having fun.

Our unique approach includes leading edge leadership and organizational development practices, astrology, intuitive feng shui and sacred glass art. Mike Grabarek has over 20 years experience in Fortune 200 companies developing and implementing leadership and organizational strategies. He is also a certified astrologer and glass artist focusing on sacred symbols and geometry. Astrid Uryson has an advanced certification in feng shui. She also has significant experience in Ayurvedic practices.

Intuitive Feng Shui – Astrid Uryson, an advanced Intuitive Feng Shui practitioner, helps individuals and businesses make adjustments to their environment which allows the energy to flow in alignment with intentions. Spaces in the environment are represented by the bagua map. This practice enhances balance in your life and work through appropriate placement of the objects around you in regard to shape, color, size, and texture. In the vast majority of situations, adjustments are simple and inexpensive.

Sacred Glass Art – Mike Grabarek has worked with stained glass art since the 1980′s with leaded and copper foil glass. He also creates art using glass fusing and slumping techniques. Having a background in science and mathematics, Mike creates glass art utilizing ancient symbols and sacred geometry. Principles such as the elemental energy flows of fire (heart/spirit), earth (practicality/grounding), air (idea exploration), water (feelings/fluidity) and ether (visioning) serve as effective guides in approaching our lives and businesses.
